The Lord is good! It’s awesome to see the kids excited to learn about Jesus and all the treasures that are available to them: The Word, Truth, Obedience, Faith, and the best one of all that they don’t have to seek for- God’s love for us. Even though these are very basic lessons meant for the kids, how much more important is it for us as parents and adults to remember these foundational gems!
Wondering what happened to our heroes from the skit? Well, after being turned on by Olga Von Petrov and finding the treasure of the Truth, that perfidious Capt. Kruger was impatient to find a “real” treasure with material worth. He hurried McRyan and Rebecca to find the next two treasures of Obedience and Faith. In the midst of a life or death situation, Rebecca was challenged to follow a Voice while blindfolded. This required much trust, obedience, and faith, but at the end they discovered the voice to be none other than Jesus Himself! Kruger still couldn’t see the value of the new treasures and was on the verge of rage, thankfully McRyan and Rebecca escaped! Kruger’s right behind them so tune in tomorrow to see what happens next!
ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PARENTS: Please remember to bring your child at 6:45pm for Friday night’s show and try to dress them in “Indiana Jones” inspired outfits. Colors like brown, cream, and khaki work well. One example might be a short sleeve button up shirt with front pockets or polo, and maybe some khaki pants or brown shorts with a belt; even boots if possible. If they don’t have anything like this, just try your best, have fun with the outfit! Thanks again for letting us serve you and your precious kids!
