“Whom have I in heaven but thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee…God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.” We often credit certain things- like a relationship, job, or toy- as an “ultimate satisfier.” Problem is, we were not created for this world, so nothing from this world can satiate the hunger and emptiness we have. Everything in our lives must be built upon the Rock, for He will never leave us nor forsake us. If we make Him our everything and our “ultimate satisfier,” then we will never be moved.
