Dear Family and Friends,
We are so thankful for your generous gifts in December and also throughout the year of 2011. The residents and staff, many of whom have never been away from home for the holidays, were so blessed by the wonderful gifts they received. The expression of love that comes from your giving is even more apparent at Christmas, and the look of appreciation on the faces of our residents was a reminder to me of just how much I have to be thankful for. Many of our teachers, and families of a few residents came for a fabulous brunch, and enjoyed the unwrapping of the Christmas presents.
We are looking forward to what God is going to do here at Sonrise Mission this coming year, while we press toward the high calling of Jesus Christ. Marion and I wish each of you a very healthy and safe New Year, and pray that God would continue to bless you richly, as you have blessed us.
