Calvary Chapel Čakovec – Croatia

In 1989, Damir Srnec was the pastor of a Baptist church when he decided to attend a conference at the Castle (a retreat center in Austria) where he met several Calvary Chapel pastors. Their example, heart, and testimony were very influential in stirring his heart to dedicate himself to live by the Word and teach it line-upon-line. He began to do just that in the Baptist church that he had been pastoring until he felt the Lord calling him to step out and start a new work in Nedelišće, near Čakovec, Croatia. Early 1993, Pastor Damir Srnec brought together a dozen men and began Calvary Chapel Čakovec, Croatia.
