A baby dedication is a time for the parents to bring their little one before the church to publicly declare that the child is a gift from the Lord and that they are desiring to bring up the child in the knowledge of the Lord. It is a time for the pastor, leaders, and church family to commit to pray for the child being dedicated and his or her parents.
