"Oh, give thanks to the Lord!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples!
Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him;
Talk of all His wondrous works!
Glory in His holy name;
Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!
Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face evermore!"
Psalm 105:1-4
As we start off a new year, allow Psalm 105:1-4 to minister to you and allow you to put things into perspective by breaking every part of these verses into questions that you can ask yourself.
For example, through verse 1, I ask myself these questions…
1- Am I thanking the Lord enough?
2- Am I calling upon His name enough?
3- Am I making His deeds known among the people enough?
This can be done for all four of these verses, and throughout so much of Scripture. I hope this encourages you as much as it encouraged me to want to continue to seek His face all the more!
