Solomon reminds us in Ecclesiastes 3 that there are seasons in life. The poetry in this chapter doesn’t just highlight the good, but also reminds us that there will be tough times in life.
"A time to break down, And a time to build up; A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance." (Ecclesiastes 3:3-4)
No matter what season we are in, my encouragement is that we would press into the Lord. Delighting in His word both day and night. If we make his presence in our lives a priority, Psalm 1 tells us we will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water.
If this is true in our lives, like Solomon in Ecclesiastes 3, we too can say that God has made everything beautiful in its time.
